Every upgrade that Apple introduces to the market is always worth the wait and the same goes for AirPods Pro, the company’s latest wireless earbuds. Released in 2019, these earbuds hold a balanced mixture of jaw-dropping sound quality, active noise cancellation, water and sweat resistance, customizable fit, and future-forward technology.
One major highlighting feature of the AirPods Pro is their active noise-cancellation. Apple’s sound-out feature is engineered splendidly to block outside noise. Whether you’re commuting in a noisy bus or working in a bustling office, the noise cancellation option muffles the ambiance to give you a clean, undisturbed audio experience.
Apple’s emphasis on comfort and fit is another commendable aspect of the AirPods Pro. Each pair comes with three sizes of flexible silicone tips to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. They even feature a unique “Ear Tip Fit Test” which helps determine the best fit for your ears.
The audio quality is exceptional. Each earbud uses a high dynamic range amplifier to produce pure, incredibly clear sound while also extending battery life. Listening to diverse genres from classical to pop, I was impressed by the depth and dimension of the sound. The Adaptive EQ feature, which automatically tunes music to suit your ears, adds to this quality.
Sweat and water resistance solidifies its standing as an ideal choice for health enthusiasts. Whether you are doing intense workouts, running or engaging in any sports activities, AirPods Pro can manage it all without getting damaged.
In terms of battery life, AirPods Pro provides up to five hours of listening time on a single charge and up to 24 hours with the charging case, which aligns with the previous AirPods versions.
The integration of Siri is also an attractive feature, allowing you to easily switch songs, adjust the volume, or even answer calls without touching your device.
However, the steep price of the AirPods might make you reconsider your decision. If affordability is top on your priority list, there are other decent alternatives in the market that cost less.
Also, if you’re not an inherent Apple user, the AirPods Pro might not be your best bet. These earbuds are designed to work best with Apple devices, while Android users can face compatibility challenges.
Another downside is the difficulty in repairing them. You can replace the battery or the ear tips, but any major repair will demand a replacement of the AirPods which can be expensive.
In conclusion, Apple AirPods Pro is an excellent product with remarkable features, great sound quality, and comfort. If you are an avid Apple user and willing to pay a hefty upfront fee for a seamless listening experience, they are worth every penny. The AirPods Pro sets the bar for what a true wireless earbud should be.
Considering everything, I’m giving Apple AirPods Pro a 4.5/5 rating, docking half a point only for its steep price and repair issues. I highly recommend it for anyone willing to splurge a bit for an exceptional experience.
